Grey Junglefowl - A shy and timid bird seen solitary or in pairs. Only emerges in clearings and forest roads to glean in early mornings and late evenings. Roosts in trees and bamboo clumps. This bird replaces the Red Junglefowl in South India. Its hackles are much in demand for making fishing flies.
The beautiful wonders of nature are seen in the quaint colours of this glorious Indian Bird Series artwork. Our prints have been beautifully crafted on canvas using Giclee printing - a printing process to print high-quality art prints. The canvas prints come with gallery wrapped edges along with a contemporary floater frame for the best display of the print.
India has spectacular birds, which have been studied intensively over the past hundred and fifty years. This is our little way of commemorating the splendour of the Indian Bird.
